Overall, there’s nothing wrong with the hotel, nice location with access to lots of transport, lovely view, a local shop nearby. So the money spent on the voucher did not reflect the service we got. I also paid for part of my stay with a buy a gift voucher which promised a 3 course meal on the first night, but this was not offered to us at all. After being refused help, a lady who presented herself as a manager but not sure if she was, went to the room herself, knocked on and retrieved the passports with an apology to the guests in there (which of course they deserved). I also think that although it was my mistake to leave them, the cleaners definitely do not check the rooms when cleaning them. In a panic we went back to the hotel to be greeted with really unhelpful people who refused initially to help as there was now other people in that room so they wouldn’t knock on to ask. Specifically to my stay, I made a mistake and left my passports in the room after we had checked out.

And for 70 euro more it was not worth it and I feel cheated and falsely advertised too. The only difference was the view and the addition of a sofa. There was no mirror over the dressing table, the bathroom was the same as a normal room. However we upgraded to this room as a treat for my partners birthday, but we might as well saved the money as it was not worth it we were promised bathrobes and slippers and there wasn’t any, the TV was tiny. Facilities seemed nice although we didn’t use them. Can not fault the view it was lovely, room was clean. We stayed in the executive room facing the parliament building. See more Beautiful view of the Danube and Hungarian Parliament building The restaurant menu for dinner is although limited is quite good, the pork ribs we ordered were delicious. If the Hotel Management looks into this it would be great. The breakfast at the hotel is not that great. The options are very limited and the same menu is repeated everyday.

The rooms facing the Danube river are good as u get a beautiful picturistics view of the Hungarian Parliament building and the Danube river. The stay was quite good at the hotel, very friendly check in staff. All the points of interest can also be easily reached through the hotel.

The iconic Tram route 19 which gives u a good scenic view is conveniently located near the Metro station. As it is located on the Buda side, it is very quite and relaxing than the Pest side. The view from outside The hotel facing the Danube river is superb. Located opposite the Hungarian Parliament building, the hotel is a 2 minute walk from the nearest Metro station (Batthyany Ter) on the Metro Red line.
